Ancient Green Lands

Terra Verde Antica - Earth composed of silicates and oxides of iron, magnesium, aluminum and potassium, is extracted from quarries located in Tuscany. This earth is worked through drying, purification and grinding, until a rough consistency is obtained. The Ancient Green Earth has been known since the ancient Greeks. Its semi-transparency makes it highly sought after in the pictorial field.
